I offer basic editing and sweetening, creative sound design like you've never heard, and original music. I do most of work out of a small private studio to save my clients money, but can work in your place as needed, or book Shock City Studios - St Louis' best audio room - for client reviews and final mixing.

Adam Sound is Adam Frick, a sound designer and composer
living in St Louis Missouri.

I grew up playing music, and was writing for bands and classical ensembles in high school, as well as bouncing tracks on my 4 track cassette recorder to make 10 part French horn chorales.

I attended DePaul University in Chicago, studying music and Sound Recording Technology. I spent 5 years working for Big Idea Productions recording dialog and music, and mixing for DVD, theatrical, radio, TV, and more.

Since 2003 I have worked as a freelancer for a wide variety of clients and projects, from VO for an online driver's ed course to complete sound supervision on independent films to full sound design and original music for advertising.
